I feel so comfortable with the WordPress as there are lots of great themes and I can customize those fully. That’s really worth my money. But blogspot also have some pros which I cannot deny though. Thanks for sharing.

I just wanted a simple and easy blogging tool with minimal features and good security. I have used WordPress too and i know how efficiently it works. But my requirement is less now and Blogspot filled the spot πŸ™‚

That’s a really great post comparing Blogspot and WordPress.
Yes, I too started out on Blogspot – because it was free, so that must be better.

Wrong. I gradually became aware of the points that Jason made and switched. It was painful at the time, but definitely the right choice.

The ownership was the clinching factor for me, and with self-hosting available for such a low cost I really it has to be the way to go for anyone running a business through their blog.

Slightly different if you’re just a hobby blogger – but even so, I wouldn’t want to run the risk of being shut down for some accidental transgression.

Great post, thanks.

Hi Ravi,
For me WordPress is Best. But mostly bloggers start with Blogspot which is also a good option.

It’s hard to say whether beginners should choose WordPress or Blogspot. Though most of the people recommend to choose the WordPress platform because of its vast features. But when you enter in the field of blogging then you should try out blogger platform.

It would provide you some better writing skills. You would be able to craft a great post for your website. After that you can transfer from Blogspot to WordPress.

An informative post here.
Enjoy the day.

Thankyou Mary, Its obvious that Every blogger will start up at blogger.com and end up at WordPress. A great transformation. Once you actually get used to Blogging on BlogSpot and learned most of Blogging tips, it’s better to move to WordPress. That will eventually help you to increase your revenue and better audience..
